Governance
Compliance is the starting point.
No nurse reaches a ward until every check below is complete and on file. We work to the RM6281 Provision of Clinical Staffing framework, Lot 1 (Nursing & Midwifery), and all nursing shifts are charged at the Band 5 cap rate where the trust specifies it.
NMC registration
Pin verified and revalidation status confirmed before booking.
Enhanced DBS
Adult and child workforce checks, updated through the DBS update service.
Right to work
Passport, visa or share code evidenced and stored on file.
Mandatory training
BLS, safeguarding, moving and handling, infection prevention and PMVA.
Occupational health
Immunisation status, occupational health clearance and fit-to-work declaration.
References
Two clinical references covering the last three years of practice.
